This has been a wild year, a tough year, and a year that has sparked a lot of change. We would like to highlight some of the work we have done this year to help grow the Natives in tech ecosystem.
Growth of Slack
This year we added 48 new members to Slack! Here is the breakdown by year:

Natives in Tech Conf 2020
This year's conference almost did not happen. But the community stepped up and made it even greater than last year! Check out all the videos on YouTube.
Open Collective
This year we launched our Open Collective to accept donations and allow us to be transparent about where we spend our funds.
Rebrand
Natives in Tech has gone through a couple of rebrands over the years. The latest one is something we plan to stick with for a while. Read more about it here.
Projects
Natives in Tech has launched several projects this year:
Partnership with Coding Dojo
We partnered with Coding Dojo to offer 5 full-ride scholarships to Native students. Read more about it here.
The Future
We want to continue to grow Natives in Tech. Some areas we are actively working to grow are:
- Sponsorships and funding opportunities
- Contributors to Natives in Tech repos
- Launch a Natives in Tech survey
